Open Arms Transitional Housing, PSC (OATHPSC) is a community-based organization dedicated to reducing recidivism by empowering youth and young adults through mentorship, education, leadership development, and supportive services that help prevent incarceration. We unite youth by creating positive opportunities that foster personal growth, strengthen families, and build safer communities.
Through community engagement, prevention initiatives, and strategic partnerships, OATHPSC connects individuals and families with trusted resources, including housing assistance, employment services, educational support, behavioral and mental health services, recovery programs, and other essential community resources. Our mission is to provide guidance, encouragement, and access to services that help youth and young adults make positive life choices, reduce gun violence, and become productive leaders who create lasting change in their communities.

Iowa’s PATH Program
Iowa’s PATH Program, which integrates outreach, assessment, short-term case management, and strategic referrals for housing and wellness services.
Recidivism Reduction, Violence Prevention, and Gun Violence Intervention Services
Participants receive individualized support through positive adult mentorship, workforce readiness, educational guidance, leadership development, conflict resolution training, and referrals to behavioral health, substance use treatment, housing, employment, and other community resources. We work closely with families, schools, law enforcement, community organizations, and local partners to create a strong network of support that promotes accountability, healing, and long-term success.
Minnesota’s Housing Stabilization Services (HSS)
offering up to 150 hours per client to facilitate transitions into independent housing, including help finding homes, funding
supports, and moving-related services.
